Team Tobati
[b]Team Mission[/b] “The mission of Team Tobati is to increase the opportunities offered to poor youth of Tobati, Paraguay and to offer young American students the fantastic experience of working for a greater good in the developing world.” Team Tobati funds service trips for American students to go to Tobati to build schools and help the development of education each spring. Beyond that, Team Tobati provides funding to improve the quality of schools in the region throughout the year. In addition to education, Team Tobati also provides funding for improving healthcare in the area. By improving the standard of living in the region, the people are able to focus more on getting an education, which in turn leads to bettering the community, resulting in an ameliorating cycle. [font='Times New Roman', serif]On October 17th, we will be launching a multi-post blog series themed “How is Givology helping students prepare for their futures?” This series will continue with weekly posts through December 5th.[/font] The purpose of this blog series is to share with Givology’s generous donors, supporters, and all other social impact advocates a keyhole view of how Givology and its field partners are making a tangible impact on their local communities. Specifically, these organizations are located not only in the United States, but all around the world, from Uganda to Paraguay to Vietnam, and many places in between. The contents of these posts may range from events and initiatives that connect volunteers to the children they’re helping, to service trips during which students gain opportunities they otherwise would never have had, and to educational events that provide youths with ideas of where they will take their futures.
