Below is the fourth of several letters Liset wrote to donors who had messaged her.

Theresa:
Hello! I received your letter and I felt happy to know you. It is a great gift. It is cool to live with animals and in the countryside. ¿Did you take care of animals? I love to do that. I have not lived in the countryside but would love to. ¿What was the name of the cat in the photo you sent? It looks very pretty and pampered. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for all you have done for me. Greetings to your husband, he is a great person. My family also thanks you for what you have done for me.
My cat died a week ago and I was very sad because I liked him so much. We used to play with wool and with mice (not real ones though). He scratched me like three times but that was nothing. I miss him so much. ¿Do you have any other pets? My uncle Victor is thinking about buying another cat for me so I do not miss the dead one, but I tell him not to buy it because then I will miss it even more.
As I told you before, I want to be a veterinarian and I dream of having a foundation to take care of animals that live on the street and also those that people do not want anymore. I feel sad when I see a street dog because he does not have anything to eat. I feel like crying and want to take that dog home and feed him and take care of him with love. I will call my veterinary foundation “Four Legs”.
Changing the subject, I am doing well at school. I am in 6th grade. My family is very proud of me and wishes that I can fulfill my goals.
With lots of affection,
Sincerely,
Liset Aurora
