Profile

When Daniel was three years old his mother and father left him with his grandmother. Ever since then he has been living with his grandmother Rosa who works three times a week in order to support the family. They receive a tiny monthly sum as part of the welfare plan “Vale lo nuestro” (“We’re worth it”). Rosa takes great care of Daniel and encourages him in his efforts to be successful at school.

  • Best in Class!

Congratulations to Daniel, who has completed his high school education as class valedictorian and has now moved on to university! Below you'll find few pictures and a letter from Daniel. • Letter from Daniel!

His Letter Says: Dear Eve, How are you? I hope you are doing well. I am writing to you because I am doing very well. I want to pursue a career in the field of Information Technology. The computer has been a big part of my life, and I want it to continue playing a role in my career. I am at a controversial point of my life because there are two options that interest me. Engineering with computers and systems engineering are the two options that I am looking at. However, I am sure that in time I will be able to make the right decision. I hope that you write back about yourself, and I want to thank you that you take the time to focus on my goals. Thank you, Daniel Lopez Daniel and His Mother Daniel Washing Dishes at the Saturday Meeting
