Diego is 17 years old and lives in Tunja, the place of his birth. He lives with his godmother Ana and her two brothers and parents. His own parents abandoned him when he was only 3 years old. Diego s mother was supposed to travel to another city for a few days and left Diego with Ana. However, Diego's mother never came back. Diego also has 8 other brothers and sisters but he never knew them because they were taken in for foster care. Diego only knows one of his older brothers, who lives in the same city. Diego and his family live in a house divided in 4 small apartments. Despite all the hardships that he has gone through, Diego still holds hopes and dreams for his future. He wishes to become a gym teacher or engineer when he grows up, and loves playing sports, especially soccer.
