Day 34 Student: Hongxiang Chen
Chen is 18 years old and from a western region in China. Both his parents are deceased.
He aspires to become a doctor, but he doesn't want to financially burden his family: his older brother is already enrolled in medical school, and his sister requires long-term medical care for a leg problem. For this reason, he is seeking help from generous donors.
As of August 11, 2011, he is only $250 away from having his education fully funded.
