Student: Muwanguzi Herbert

Muwanguzi came to Peace School (based in Kampala, Uganda) a year ago after his mother had died. Muwanguzi's father knew the cook at Peace School, who recommended that his son attend the school to complete his primary school education.

It has been a difficult experience for the 13 year old because the classes are taught in English and not in Muwanguzi's native language, Luganda. But he is learning English quickly. He is hopeful that he will become a pilot one day.
