We're incredibly pleased to announce that we're partnering with JoinFITE, a global empowerment platform powered by Kiva.org to foster Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship (FITE) for women in the developing world.
This is a cause really dear to our hearts because investing in women really means investing in families and the future. A mother who generates income can afford to send her children to school, which breaks the cycle of poverty. And without basic financial independence, it's too easy for women to be taken advantage of. Empowering women through entrepreneurship is essential to unlocking the potential of 50% of the world's population.
