Bienvenu lost his father in 1998. He has been in his mother's exclusive care since then and lives in a precarious dwelling with only two rooms to house him, his parents, and 3 siblings. His mother got married again to be able to take care of her children, but her new husband doesn't support or take care of them. Bienvenu does several small jobs during the school breaks in order to buy school supplies and pay his own school fees.
