Day 42 Student: Yuxiang Zhang

Yuxiang Zhang is an 18-year-old girl from Gansu China. Her mother passed away early, and so her father is the only source of income. Because of insufficient finances, Zhang's father was forced to make his older daughter leave school in the 11th grade and find a part-time job. Right now, Zhang and her brother are the only ones in school.

As of August 19, 2011, Zhang is only $147 away from having her education fully funded.
