Morrisline is in kindergarten in West Point, a neighborhood of Monrovia, Liberia. Morrisline’s mother only attended school up to grade two and her father is a fisherman who only attended school until the seventh grade. Both of her parents left school because there was no money to continue.
Morrisline is very alive and interacts with all the children. She’s not scared of new people and she’s always laughing and playing. She loves to play lapa, one of the favorite group games played by children in West Point.
We received a fall progress report on Morrisline’s first semester in school from our volunteer social worker: “Morrisline is regular in school. She performing well. She participate in class. Her hand writing is improving.”
