As the only daughter in her family, Rebecca describes the lack of food in her household. This limits her efforts in school as she struggles to excel in her studies on an empty stomach. Mounting school fees have sent Rebecca home as she has attempted to independently advance herself by studying at the library. Rebecca seeks to continue her education and interest in humanities to become a lawyer, protect women's rights and "create the heart of fairness in the world."
