Mission and Values:
The Nanubhai Education Foundation works closely with communities in Gujarat, India, to help students in rural areas achieve higher education through scaleable and sustainable methods. The Foundation upholds several values in achieving its social impact goals. In executing financial transactions, the Foundation strives to maintain total transparency, thereby establishing strong trust with its donors and communities. Cultural sensitivity is another crucial value, and the Foundation upholds this consideration by integrating its works into the vibrant and different cultural context. While carrying out programs that leave a lasting, positive impact on the community, the Nanubhai Foundation is meticulous in making sure that tangible and measurable outcomes are achieved. Lastly, the foundation considers sustainability and scalability as two important factors when implementing programs that can make a long-lasting change.

Nanubhai scholarships:
The Nanubhai scholarships are aimed at supporting bright, courageous girls from rural communities who have the potential to excel with a college education but lack the financial circumstances to do so. This year, the program distributed 13 scholarships to girls in Gujarat, and expanded its impact to encompass potential scholars in rural Rajasthan. These recipients include girls who are aspiring pharmacists who strive to fight against the counterfeit drug industry to network managers studying information technology, and geologists on their way to acquire a Bachelor of Science. The scholarship is truly impactful in that it provides its scholars with renewable scholarships for the duration of their program, and helps these girls achieve their success. By 2024, the foundation sets its goal to have Nanubhai Scholars in every state with adequate funding from its generous donors.

Internship program:
The Nanubhai Education Foundation hosts an internship program each summer where students studying in the field of education can go to Gujurat, India. The students stay for 10 weeks and participate in a myriad of activities. Aside from gaining experience in working with a grassroots NGO, the students can participate in various Nanubhai programs and conduct original field research. Some of the interns create posts about how, although they had to break through many cultural barriers in the beginning (language being the biggest obstacle), their experience with the Nanubhai Education Foundation have positively impacted their life and pushed them to create a larger positive impact on the world through education.
