Queridos Padrinos:
Una vez mas al comunicarme con ustedes, quiero que reciban un saludo muy especial y deseo muchas bendiciones de salud, paz y éxitos en sus vidas.
Quiero a través de esta carta expresar, mis más sinceros agradecimientos por su valiosa ayuda que recibí para este nuevo año pues es de grande beneficio para poder continuar con mis estudios. Actualmente curso 4º grado de primaria y estoy muy contento porque estoy aprendiendo cosas nuevas y espero obtener buenas notas; además, tengo buenos compañeros y maestros buenos.
Mi mama es muy buena, ella me orienta en mis tareas, me lleva y me trae del Colegio pero me preocupa que no pueda trabajar porque además de cuidarme a mi también cuida de mi abuelita pues solo vivimos los tres y debemos pagar parte del arriendo y servicios y otros gastos y la situación económica no es muy buena pero hay que seguir adelante.
Este año tengo pensado tomar un curso de musica o de futbol los dias sabados espero conseguir los recursos para hacerlo porque aunque es muy poco lo que debo pagar no tengo para hacerlo.

Through this letter I want to express my most sincere gratitude for your valuable help this year. It is of great help to continue my education. I am in 4th grade and I am very happy because I am learning new things. I hope to get good grades. Also, I have good classmates and good teachers.
My mother is a good person. She helps me with homework. She takes me to and picks me up from school, however, I am concerned that she cannot work because she has to take care of me and my grandmother. The three of us live in a rented apartment. We pay rent, utilities and other expenses and our financial situation is not good, but we carry on.
I want to take music lessons this year or play soccer on Saturdays. I hope to get the money to pay for that because even though it is not expensive I do not have money to pay for it.
Thank you for being willing to help me. I hope to share new things with you in my next letter.
