Hello Alex! This is Vanessa from Colombia.
I am sending you, your family and your little brother a special greeting. Thank you for your good wishes and for sharing with me all those things that are part of your life. I admire you! You have important dreams. Now you are in my list of friends for whom I pray. I pray for your wellbeing and also that you can reach the goals you have set.
I also enjoy helping others and I know you enjoy that too. Great! I am in 8th grade. I started classes at the end of January and study all day in two shifts. I study English as second language and I am good at it. I am also good with computers. I am not required yet to do social work but my greatest wish is to help to reduce the poverty in children and women who struggle the most.
During my spare time I continue to play basketball. I like it very much! I also know how to swim but cycling also is of my interest. Some time ago I started to study music. I played the clarinet and at the beginning I enjoyed it but then I realized it was not for me. It is interesting because part of my family likes music a lot and also art. I also like to write, read and origami.
On Sunday I teach children younger than five for an hour. I continue to study hard and understand that in people’s lives there are difficulties that we must overcome. Nothing comes easy in this world. Without efforts success is not success.
It would be cool if you could come to Colombia. Here there are fantastic places, even here where I live. I am sending you these photos so that you have an idea of how it looks like. I dream of visiting Canada. I won’t give up that dream yet. Thanks for inviting me to visit it.

Te envió un saludo muy especial, igualmente a tu familia y a tu hermanito.
Gracias por tus buenos deseos y por compartir conmigo todas esas cosas que asen parte de tu vida ¡TE ADMIRO! Tienes sueños muy importantes, ahora estas en la lista de los amigos por los que hago oración para que te vaya bien y alcances lo que te has propuesto.
Además me complace poder ayudar a los demás y tú lo haces ¡QUE BIEN!
Ingrese a grado octavo de secundaria a finales de enero; estudio todo el día en dos jornadas, el idioma que estudio es inglés, me está yendo bien igualmente en informática aun no comienza mi trabajo social pero mi mayor deseo a futuro es lograr menos pobreza en los niños y en las mujeres que son quienes más sufren.
En mis pasatiempos sigo jugando baloncesto, me gusta mucho, también se nadar pero me llama la atención el ciclismo.
Alguna vez entre a estudiar música interpretando el clarinete, al comienzo me gusto, después descubrí que no era lo mío. Aunque te cuento que a una gran parte de mi familia les gusta mucho la música y el arte. También me gusta escribir, leer y hacer plegados.
El domingo voy a enseñar a uno niñitos menores de cinco años una hora.
Sigo juiciosisima estudiando y entiendo que en el canino de todos los seres humanos hay algunas dificultades, que debemos superar; todo en el mundo tiene su esfuerzo sin él no es grato el éxito.
Seria genialísimo que vinieras a Colombia hay lugares fantástico, incluso acá donde vivo. Te envió esta foto para que tengas una idea.
¡Es un sueño conocer Canadá! Pero no lo descarto que así sea.
