Letter from Cristian!

Here's Cristian's letter with the English translation below:

Dear and beloved sponsors:

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is my wish that He blesses you always and also I hope you are doing well. After this greeting, I am writing to you to tell you a little bit about me and my school. I am fine thanks to God. As I had shared with you before, this year I am in 6th grade. I feel it has been a difficult year because I must be more responsible and getting used to this reality has been a little difficult. I have a lot of homework to do every day, I have to do researches on Internet, read books about theater, biographies and literature and write a summary by hand. This is new to me because when I was in elementary school my teachers used to pamper us and the homework we had to do was easier.

I also want to tell you that I attend my Church called Only by Faith, the Church I have always been going to. Three months ago a group of children and I started taking music lessons. I want to learn how to play the drums. They are my favorite instrument and I am good at playing them! This year I do not attend Sunday school but the teenagers group. Twenty days ago I went to a teenagers retreat in a beautiful farm. I had a lot of fun there because there was a big group of people from different Lutheran Churches. We shared a lot, I met new teenagers my age, we played and swam but most important we shared a lot about our Lord’s Word through prayers, songs, Bible studies and playing. Different teenagers from different places in the country attended this retreat and we were really happy for those two days. I wish that this continues to always happen.

I also want to let you know that I appreciate you a lot and you are always in my heart and mind. My mother and I ask Jesus to always bless you and to keep your heart as good as it is. May our Lord prosper you day by day is our wish. I appreciate you very much!
