Hello dear sponsors:
I hope this letter finds you well. I am truly happy to know about you through letters or photos. My family and I are doing well thanks to God. We are thankful to you for supporting children like me that lack the needed financial resources to get good education.
In the town where I live the climate has been very dry. Some people are not too happy about it because the lack of rain is not good for agriculture, cattle raising and many other things.
I am not sure if you know that the town where I live is rich in potable water thanks to a natural park that has a snow-caped mountain that looks very pretty and big. It is very sad to know that the snow is melting little by little due to global warming. I had never gone to see the snow-caped mountain before but at the beginning of the year I had the opportunity to go there and never imagined how beautiful and spectacular it is. To get there one has to walk a lot, it takes 5 hours to climbing it and 5 hours to go down. It is sad to know that long time ago that mountain had much more snow than now. The snow the mountain has now will melt and become water and perhaps this beautiful park will disappear.
In regards to school, the grading method was changed and it is a little more difficult but not impossible. It has been hard for me to get use to this grading method and I did not do as well as I thought I would, but I know I will do better next two months. I continue to play basketball and music so I do not have much time to rest, but I enjoy getting to know and learn about many things.
It is my hope we can continue communicating and to get to know many things about you. May the Almighty God bless you and make your projects successful.

Hola apreciados padrinos,
Espero q te encuentres súper bien, y verdaderamente estoy muy feliz de conocerlo (a) aunque sea solamente por cartas y fotos. Yo estoy muy bien junto con mi familia gracias a Dios y estamos agradecidos con usted por toda la colaboración que brindan a niños como yo que no tienen los recursos necesarios para tener un buen estudio.
En mi pueblo está haciendo mucho verano por lo cual no es el agrado de muchas personas porque no sirve el clima para la agricultura, para la ganadería o para muchas cosas más.
No sé si ya sabían que mi pueblo es rico en agua potable gracias a un parque natural nacional del nevado el cual es muy lindo y grande, y es muy triste saber que poco a poco se está descongelando gracias al calentamiento global. Yo nunca había subido a saber cómo era pero a principios de este año tuve la oportunidad de ir a conocerlo y nunca me imagine lo lindo y espectacular que es, pero eso si hay que caminar muchísimo, 5 horas de para arriba y 5 de para bajo. Pero es muy triste saber que hace mucho tiempo tenía mucho mas nieve que ahorita, y de saber que toda esa nieve se va a convertir en hielo para después convertirse en agua y terminar con este lindo parque.
Respecto a mi estudio, cambiaron el programa de calificaciones y es un poco más difícil pero no imposible, me ha dado duro este método y no me fue como yo quería que me fuera pero yo sé que me va ir mejor el próximo bimestre. Continúo con el baloncesto y con la música lo cual no me queda casi tiempo para descansar, pero esto es de mi agrado saber y conocer muchas cosas.
Espero que nos continuemos comunicando y saber muchas más cosas de ustedes. Que el dios todo poderoso los bendiga y les de muchos éxitos en todos sus proyectos.
