Rachel is a sophomore biology major at Cornell University, originally from Northern Virginia. She is the Director of Special Projects, most recently working on the publication and marketing of the second edition of Givology's book with Stephany Yong. Rachel also helped start up Givology's GiveInspiration project, working on content and graphics development.
She went to the same high school as Givology founder, Joyce Meng, and first got involved with the organization the summer after her senior year. Rachel is extremely grateful for her time with Givology, and believes that it has really made a huge difference in how she views global education systems and community service in her own life. She hopes that others will be inspired by the book and the touching stories of Givology's grassroots partners. The major takeaway that Rachel has from this book is that anyone can make a difference, with the right motivation and inspiration.
